The indigenous farmers of Seren Tola can earn about 25,000 riels per day during the dry season and less during the rainy season from selling vegetables grown by themselves and transporting them to the village regularly. The woman received additional training on cultivation and land preparation skills from Analyzing Development Issues Centre—ADIC under The Cambodia Sustainable Livelihood of Indigenous Communities Project—CSLICP).

CSLICP receives funding from the Japan Social Development Fund through the World Bank to train farmers, indigenous youth and youth in schools on agricultural techniques, vegetables and processing products including bean juice, fried bananas, raisins, potato and pumpkin, pickles, bamboo pickles, dish soap in Mondulkiri and Ratanakiri provinces.
